The legendary skateboarder made stops in Lincolnton and Boone last week. So why he was here? Turns out, the story's deeper than you might have thought.
I had to laugh at the Mountain Dew commercial. I was good friends of Kerry and Ray, taught both their kids at Ogden and when it was Career Week in kindergarten Ray came in at the end of the week in the heels of surveyors, hair dressers, lawyers etc., with fingerboards, Ray Underhill skateboard cards and the Mountain Dew video! He Knocked it out of the park!
Another great story about what seems to be a great guy! I’ve always admired Tony Hawk’s talent and down to earth vibe!! Great story Jeremy, still hoping Jagger DM’s you!!

Loved reading this story and the Hawk tweets are laugh out loud funny. So nice to see he is truly a nice guy.
Great story, and what a legend and loyal friend Mr Hawk appears to be.
The gentleman in the picture dressed in purple is Kevin Staab. Another legend in the world of skating and very close to T. Hawk ....
