So, who in the hell is Frank Corriher??? Using the exact same wrapper, exact same color, almost the exact same ingredients? And, for the most part, tastes the exact same. I'm confused...

I went to high school with one of the Neeses back in the 1990s, and they were by all accounts a really lovely family. I love and dearly miss that hot breakfast sausage. Hope they are all doing okay in light of all of this.

06/14/26: Thank you, PR morons. Each time we see the words "excited" or "exciting" in a press release, we know you're bullsh*tting us. Please don't change. It's so easy this way.

06/14/26: If you need a good laugh, find out what the FDA definition of "natural flavors" is. But do be seated when you hear the answer.

Considering how lackadaisical federal inspectors are, I would guess the Neese's plant was in pretty disgusting condition. At that Boar's Head plant in Virginia, inspectors found "major deficiencies" and "imminent threats" but took no action for years until the plant produced a major listeria outbreak. The FDA doesn't move until problems are so awful that people are getting sick or dying. And people still want to eat Neese's stuff?

Very sad that another family brand may disappear. More than likely cost cutting measures will happen and it won’t be the same. This overused phrase at times, adds to the pain, but Time is Undefeated.
