I asked you all to write lyrics to a Tar Heel holiday tune, line by line. Then I hastily tried to arrange them into a legitimate song. Here's what we've got.
I loved this edition ; it arrived on a gloomy December day of bad family news and brought me laughs and happy memories. I’d like to subscribe, but can’t afford it.
Do you have a discount for seniors, for seniors with physical disabilities, or for disabled seniors who are retired public school teachers ?
I missed the original assignment, but can't say I'd have added much. What came to mind was: "Kids, get to the table and stop your messing/Time for sweet potato casserole & oyster dressing...."
And not using Holly's line about Meemaw's snuff was a travesty.
